Our Annual General Meeting was held virtually (via Zoom) on the evening of Sunday, September 7th. Mr Parkin retired from the club chair position after many years of service, with thanks from the committee, and Mr Eames takes over as the new chair. Mrs Rutherford was welcomed to the committee as club trophies officer.
Imperial Grand Premier Abychat Smooth-Criminal (DEXTER) became the first fawn neuter to gain an imperial title on June 14, 2025, at the ACC show.
Previous Abyssinians needed new forever homes. Thrilled to say they all found good forever homes.

13/07/2024 Abydreams Valentino (ABY n) owned and shown by Mr & Mrs I Thompson was Best of Variety, for Section 4 at the SCOTICA Cat Fanciers show at Lanark.

2nd March 2024 ABYDREAMES CLARA BOW Won Overall Best in Show at both the Northern Ireland Cat Club and Erin Cat Club, back-to-back shows.
21st October 2023 Abyssinians were well represented at the GCCF Supreme show with 12, aged between 5 months and 5 1/2 years old.
4 Usual, 2 Sorrel, a Blue, a Fawn, a Silver, a Red, a Red-Silver and a Silver tortie.
Against stiff competition in Section 4 our very own ABYDREAMES CLARA BOW, Ususal Female Kitten 7 months won BEST of Variety (BIV) Kitten over the Russian Blue, Thai, Cornish Rex, Devon Rex, Sphynx, Singapura, Snowshoe, Bengal, and Ocicat, best of breed kittens. Then off to the Best in Show Competition where she competed against the BIV kittens from the other 5 sections. Well she only won that too, Supreme Kitten 2023

Then the Supreme Adult, Supreme Kitten, and Supreme Neuter compete for the Overall Supreme Exhibit and Yeah she won that too.
